when life gives you lemons...

make cake! for my dad's birthday today.. (age will be withheld) i made a triple-layer lemon cake with lemon curd between the layers and a lemon-cream cheese frosting. it was hard work, but it turned out so well! my dad really loved it which meant a lot to me!


i absolutely love baking. it really gets my mind off the stresses in my life. i find that when i'm stressed out, my cakes turn out better because i concentrate everything into baking.
